I Thought I’d Heard It All – NOPE!!

Monday, November 18, 2019

Welcome to my Monday Blog, dear Friends! Hope you and yours shared some love and laughter over the weekend! I spent some precious time with my #1 grandchild – she’s just so much fun, has a precious heart and a loooong funny bone. Both beautiful and funny…great combo! I treasure my time with her and always look forward to the next time! She’s my precious gift from heaven above – Thank you, Lord!

So recently, I attended a book signing for a new author-friend of mine. Awhile back, another friend had told me about this new author and her new book release and that she would be the guest author at a local book store in Atlanta. So the three of us got together for lunch and I was able to get to know this new author alot better and was delighted to tell all my friends about her upcoming book signing.

There’s simply not one itty-bitty anything that I don’t just adore about this woman-child of God; however, there’s a story behind her uplifting smile – a story that once known, will both break your heart and lift it up at the same time. It’ll also make you mad as hell, so watch out – I know this because I bought her little book and I read it. Well, I thought I’d read it all or at least heard it all. Nope! This is a tiny book of only 90 pages, but what a story it tells! This is a story about heart, soul, character, determination and ultimately… survival. You can get this book on Amazon.com and I hope you will – it’s truly a blessing and it’s my pleasure to share this with you all today!

“The Hell I Held”, by author Dee Mack

My prayer for all of us this week is that we will focus on being kind and gentle to one another – no matter who it is. We never know the pain, sorrow or suffering another may be dealing with in their lives at any given moment. Let’s just be KIND to one another – Always!

GOD is Good! GOD is Great!! Always!!!

I love you,

Margaret

My book, the spiritual thriller, “That Melvin Bray”, is available on Amazon

Our Heroes!!

Monday, November 11, 2019

Welcome to my Monday Blog, my Friends! Today’s Blog is in honor of all our Veterans! When we stop to think about it, the thought is more than a little chilling, right? I mean seriously, where would we be, if not for our Veterans?!

WE live in the greatest Country on Earth and that Gift has been given to all of us – made possible by our incredible Veterans! The fact is that we celebrate our veterans ONE day out of the year – ONE DAY!

What if we were to celebrate them every day of the year – Maybe a silent “Thank You!” every day, for our Veterans – just between God, ourselves and them.

May God bless them, their families and their friends and just as important, may we never forget them!  We live in the greatest Country on Earth and have these  freedoms because of our veterans and the sacrifices they have made for us!

May God Bless our Veterans and May God Bless America!!

GOD is Good! GOD is Great!! Always!!!

I love you,

Margaret

There’s No Negativity in Thankful!

Monday, November 4, 2019

First Blog of November 2019! WELCOME to you all and I hope you know how much I appreciate each one of you! With Thanksgiving just down the road a bit, this month should prove to be a wonderful time to spend with family and friends!! Also a time to reflect on all our incredible Blessings!

Actually, I’m thinking like…how about we just start TODAY…right now and all the way to Thanksgiving Day?! Why not make this  whole month one of giving thanks for all our blessings?! I, for one, have some serious thanking to do and today’s the perfect day to start, right? Each one of us knows exactly what we’re grateful for and why not start today – Right now!

First, let’s cast out all the negativity we’ve stored up for who knows how long! Just send it far – far away. It certainly hasn’t helped any, by storing it up for later use…Nope, there’s no negativity in thankful!! Lets all start off with a clean heart and mind, then focus on all the precious gifts we have right in front of us…you know… our Gifts…they’re called Blessings…all the gifts we’re thankful for in our precious gift of Life.

Let’s all consider that before God does something for us, He just might need to do something in us. This may require that God prepare us for what He’s about to do in our lives…and just because we don’t understand His plan for us, doesn’t mean He’s not faithfully busy at work for our benefit.

Let’s not give up and allow the negativity of a situation to control us. Let’s give in and allow God to work His miracles in us and through us. God’s work is greater than all of us put together! Regardless of our challenges, grief, loss financial burdens, you name it…God has a solution. When we do our best, have patience and trust in Him for the rest, He will never forsake us. God doesn’t work that way. His holy magic is just that. Holy Magic!!

“Patience is the supernatural fruit of the Holy Spirit.”

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”  – Galatians 6:9

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.”  – Philippians 4:6

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”  – Romans 12:12

This week my prayer for us all is that we will do our very best in whatever challenges we face, be prayerful and leave the rest up to our heavenly Father.

GOD is Good! GOD is Great!! Always!!!

I love you,

Margaret
