Not Today Satan!

tmb blog there is a place for negativity

Monday, February 25, 2019

Happy Monday and welcome to my Monday Blog, my friends!

Hope all are well and ready for a new week of…whatever you need! I’m reminded of several years back when I worked in a sales office and Monday mornings were reserved for sales meetings. We started off each meeting by going around the table and each of us had the opportunity to discuss whatever we needed, but mostly negative comments were spoken. There was this one fella though, who wore a distinct and sincere, big smile, who had the same response every single Monday: “Just damn glad to be here!”  Would you believe that after many Mondays to follow, over half the sales staff changed their negative comments to anything but! I can honestly say that one positive person, among over twenty-five, changed the vibe around that whole company! As they say in some circles, “It was a beautiful thing!”

This reflection reminds me of how Satan works. Satan loves ruining our day – One day at a time, too! Our suffering is his delight. Don’t let him in. Ignore him. He’s the great slanderer, demon, adversary and a major spoiler!! Hey, he can spoil more than one day, too. He can ruin your entire life and that’s his objective! Ya know, he can’t come into your life unless you let him.  Not today Satan, not tomorrow, not ever!!

My prayer for us all this week is that we’ll be conscious of this possibility – and diligently stay on guard – don’t fall for his dirty tricks and negativity! He’ll promise you the moon and give you hell, literally! He’ll let you down every single time. He never keeps his end of the bargain. He brings heartaches, nothing but heartaches!

Here’s a sure-fire way to be safe: ask Jesus to come into your heart and protect you from all harm and evil. He will too, because He truly loves you – He died for you. That pretty much says it all.

GOD is Good! GOD is Great!! Always!!!

I love you,

Margaret

Longevity

February 18, 2019

It’s Monday, so welcome to my Monday Blog, dear friends! Every now and then I post a truly heartfelt “Thank You” to various countries who have been with me here each week for over five years, as well as recent new-comers. My beloved USA holds the #1 spot, followed by the Philippines, Canada, India, Untied Kingdom, Hong Kong SAR China, Australia, South Africa, Romania, Ireland, Dominican Republic, Italy and Germany. While I’m blessed with so many more, today I celebrate my loyal alumni, as we add several newbies! THANK YOU to you all, may I never disappoint you and may you be blessed in abundance!

So what’s the real goal here on Earth? Could it be as simple as “longevity?

I’ve heard the following more than once from various “senior”  friends of mine: “The goal of life is to die young as late as possible.”

Frankly, I rather like that idea and would add this little tidbit:  “and to live each day as if it is your last.”  I believe if one lives a life truly based on faith, hope and charity, the longevity part could be simply awesome!

We take care of ourselves which involves our body, aka Temple. Our temple houses our hearts and minds. In this heart and mind mix, comes emotion. It’s most wise to nurture all in healthy ways if we want to experience true longevity.  Oh, and what about our souls? Our souls are the intangible part of our being that God is most concerned with when it comes to longevity… in Eternity. For this one paramount reason, we must get our hearts, minds and emotions  “right” as in…spiritually RIGHT WITH GOD.

The bottom line is that we human beings are physical, emotional and spiritual. We know how to nurture our physical bodies, even our emotional sides, so how do we nurture our souls, the spiritual part of our being?

It is God’s way to heal our emotions by working through our spirits rather than adjusting our circumstances. He wants our emotional stability to be based on our spiritual relationship with Him…therefore, this will require a spiritual relationship with Him…

“I want to know Christ -yes, to know the power of his resurrection  and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.” -Phil- 3:10

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing, perfect will.” – Romans 12:2

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. Seek me and find me when you seek me with all you heart.” – Jeremiah 29:11-13

My prayer for us all this week is that we will seek the Lord and invite Him into our hearts as a renewal of our gratitude to Him, for His undying love, patience and forgiveness…and pray for just a glimpse of His power, as we commit to Him just how serious we are about our Eternity with Him. Amen!

GOD is Good! GOD is Great!! Always!!!

I love you,

Margaret

Being #1

tmb blog who did you notice more

Monday, February 11, 2019

Hello and welcome to my Monday Blog, dear Ones! Thank you for your time today and I hope you’ll continue to visit with me here each week. I especially appreciate your comments and most of all, your prayers. Thank You!!

When I found this image above, I was immediately reminded of “The Golden Rule – Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”  My first impression, as I looked at the “Lone Ranger” above, down there all by himself, was one of sadness…as if he had been cast out by all the others.  Then I began to ponder the possibility that the little fella may be just fine and that just maybe, he’s trying to make an impression on all the others. Then I asked myself, “is it possible he’s right and all the rest of the flock are wrong?”

Well, sure it’s possible and as a matter of fact, that scenario has been proven before by many, certainly! As Christians, we know the challenge Jesus Christ faced. He and the twelve disciples had their Life’s work cut-out for them to teach the rest of the world all about #1.

Being #1 or working for #1 can be a very lonely job sometimes and I believe we can all relate to how this feels. Regardless of the specific situation, we’ve all experienced the  “am I the only one here who sees the light?”, syndrome.

Walking our talk, discerning right from wrong, setting an example, believing in the light at the end of the tunnel…all this and more, is what it takes to live a full and yes…happy life! I, for one, believe “happy ” is a very good thing in our Gift of Life!

Sometimes, it may require standing alone, out in a crowd…like the little bird on the wire, to be #1. This takes a great deal of faith, courage, awareness and humility. Have we got what it takes to live the kind of life we can be proud of, knowing we were #1 in someone else’s Gift of Life –  That we did our best to be a light for others?

Being #1 for the right reasons is not always the most popular path to take …one may feel like the little bird on the wire…standing up there all by himself – Him against the world. Have we got what it takes? The rewards are endless. We can only imagine!!

This week, my prayer for us all is that we will simply do our best, regardless of where we are, what we’re doing or who we’re with.  Amen!

GOD is Good! GOD is Great!! Always!!!

I love you,

Margaret

The True Ugly Truth

Welcome, my Friends! I hope your weekend was one of Joy. If you’re suffering, for any reason, know that you are in my  prayers and please keep me in yours. Thank you for visiting here today and know how much I appreciate you!

For several weeks now, I’ve been so troubled about the future of our unborn babies that I can’t seem to get it off my heart. Every day that passes seems to draw us closer to new laws that are simply unconscionable.  Truly, I fear we’re headed to a place of no return and we will all pay a very high price – one like no other we’ve ever known in this, our beloved America The Beautiful – it’ll look more like,  America The Murderers!!

Seriously…just who do we think we are, anyway? What has happened to us!?  We all know that as time moves on and we progress, Life will certainly change and hopefully for the better in all situations; however, there are some immutable laws and for the life of me, I thought killing unborn babies was one of them – “thou shalt not kill” except in the most dire situations, for both the mother and the unborn.

*”The state of New York has legalized full-term abortion and Virginia is now considering a bill reportedly allowing infanticide or the killing of a newborn.

Moral outrage against abortion ought to be the same, regardless of the baby’s state of development. If an unborn baby is 40 weeks, 1 week, or even moments old at conception, there is no distinction in the inherent, God-Given value of the unborn child.

A culture of death denies the sanctity, dignity, and personal humanity of the unborn. All human beings are persons, but an anti-Christ mindset draws an arbitrary distinction between what it means to be human and a person. They wrongfully claim the unborn is not a person, and therefore, conclude abortion is moral. In their pride, they elevate their personal worth above the unborn. They deny the very existence of humanity they once held when they were to be born.”

This past weekend, I was so blessed to be part of a home birth. Actually this was the fourth home birth I’ve attended. My daughter has three awesome children (my grandchildren) and all were born at home.

Simply put, there’s no other joy on God’s Earth (for me, anyway) that has filled my heart the way it did as I experienced these tiny heavenly souls being born. I simply cannot describe it because mere words can’t do it justice! Now, I realize one doesn’t have to witness the incredible sight of an unborn baby being born to appreciate and honor it; however, after one has, as I have, it’s so unconscionable to me to realize and accept that our beloved USA has progressed ourselves into nothing less than a bunch of murdering MONSTERS!! I ask you…what’s next? Cannibalism?! Don’t laugh, I’m quite serious.

It was but a few months ago that I was reading about a woman who was about 7 months pregnant. Her husband was away on business and that night a thief entered her home and killed her and her baby could not be saved. Mommy and baby died. The thief went to trial. He was found guilty on two counts of murder.

So now it seems we’ve come so “far” in our human growth that we’re actually traveling backwards in time to a place where the crime of MURDER was legal…in our case it will be “as long as it’s either an unborn or born human baby.”

But hey! What about “SAVE THE WHALES”?  I’m pretty sure that worked for them and still does. Give me a break!!

This week, my prayer for all of us is that we will begin a prayer of vigilance – realizing that we must stand together and on God’s holy word. We’re now living in such a God-bashing time, that so many are dancing with the devil and have no fear of consequences for their depraved hearts. May God have mercy on their souls. We, however, may not rest! Pray a prayer of vigilance, without ceasing, to Him on High…for His Will to be done in our lives to His joy. Amen!

GOD is Good! GOD is Great!! Always!!!

I love you,

Margaret
