An Attitude of Gratitude

Good morning and welcome to my Monday Blog, my dear Friends!!

I hope you all had a great weekend!! Everywhere I went these past few days, there were those I spoke with who seemed to be in the love light of Jesus Christ! It was a most exalting feeling for me! I know for a fact that among a couple of these with whom I chatted, were  going through some very difficult challenges in their personal lives; however, had I not already known of these situations, I would have never thought these individuals had a serious care in the world! What I did walk away with though, was an enormous feeling of love and  adoration for them.  Their joy and optimism lifted me to another level of happiness and I sure was  grateful God had made sure I was the receiver of those gifts! Simply, they had an attitude of gratitude in spite of their dire situations. All they wanted from me was prayer…because they know the power of prayer.

An Attitude of Gratitude!!

This is what it takes to live a successful and abundant Life, period!! It’s way too easy to sit around placating ourselves in a lousy situation we may find ourselves in. This  doesn’t help the situation one bit, nor does it empower us to  leave our pity-party and actually  get on with a solution. Also, there’s no room at all for GRATITUDE for all the blessings we already do have, when we’re wallowing in a puddle of self-defeat and fear! An attitude of gratitude…how can we nurture this sentiment within our hearts every day? We all know how challenging some days can be; however, if we start out with this thought in mind and actually claim it, it can be done: first thing, is to embrace and acknowledge all the blessings we do have.

My darling Mother used to tell me that I could do anything I set my heart and mind to doing, if I had the right attitude and asked the Lord for help. That attitude is one of gratitude – and the good Lord is always there, patiently waiting on us to include Him in whatever we feel is important to improve ourselves and our situation. When we go to Him with a “thank you” first, we’re coming from a place of gratitude and God appreciates this very much.

“When you’re grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.” –  my friend, Tony Robbins

My prayer for all of us this week, is that we’ll all try being grateful for every single one of our blessings for just ONE day…it’s just amazing how good we can feel by actually being grateful, by counting our blessings, one by one.

GOD is Great! GOD is Good!! Always!!!

I love You,

Margaret
